Great Neck Homes for Sale

The Great Neck area of Virginia Beach is rich in history and is comprised of the oldest real estate in the area. The Adam Keeling House, located on Great Neck Point, was built in 1680. Until the 1960s, however, Great Neck consisted of mostly farmland. Today, it has grown substantially, is highly sought after, and is considered the high rent district of the beach.

Between the Lynnhaven River, Broad Bay, and Linkhorn Bay, there is so much waterfront property here that nearly every neighborhood has some. If you live on the water, you can dock your boat in your backyard. If not, many neighborhoods have boat ramps and there are several boatels and marinas in the area. Residents enjoy spectacular views, waterfront access, and the convenience of being central to all Virginia Beach has to offer. There are tons of restaurants,  shopping centers, recreation centers and, of course, beaches.

The public and private schools are considered the best in the area.
